$43,388 to $67,252

Job Summary:
This position is responsible for providing instruction and serving as advisor to students enrolled in the Computer Information Technology (CITE) and Cybersecurity INFOSEC & Administration Programs each semester.

Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience : Associate's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related field plus five years full-time equivalent work experience with personal computers and networks, or a Bachelor's degree plus three years full-time equivalent work experience with personal° computers and networks is required. CompTIA’s A+, Network+ and Security+ certifications are required.

Required License and/or Certifications :
Must possess or be able to obtain an Idaho State Career Technical Education (CTE) post-secondary teaching certificate with appropriate endorsement/s.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Strong skills in firewall configuration, virtualization, time management, educating/training adults for employment, demonstrated skills troubleshooting communications networks
• Excellent interpersonal communications.
• Expert knowledge of networking communications and protocols, IPv4 subnetting, cybersecurity philosophies and concepts in regards to Confidentiality Integrity and Availability (CIA) and Advanced Persistent Threats (APT).
• Basic Linux commands, Linux system administration, and Python programming skills.
• Desired skills or ability to develop and use NIST cybersecurity policies and procedures, configure Cisco routers and switches with a basic security configuration, familiar with using Wireshark, and awareness of what a Security Information Event Management (SIEM) system, in particular Security Onion, is used for.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
• Ability to use a personal computer and associated peripherals and current version of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office, Internet, and alternative delivery systems (e.g., internet and interactive video) at a proficient level.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment including phone and copier
