The Vice President for Information Technology and Chief
Information Officer provides leadership for the development and
delivery of world class computing and digital support to Wesleyan
University faculty, staff, and students. TheOffice

partners with academic and administrative
departments to advance and leverage technology and innovation for
Reporting to the Vice President for Information Technology and
Chief Information Officer, the Administrative Assistant V provides
confidential and administrative support to the Vice President,
Associate Vice President, ITS Directors, and other ITS staff.
- Serve as liaison to Financial Planning for departmental
budgetary matters; manage/reconcile purchasing card, A/P vouchers,
travel reimbursements and other financial transactions as
- Provide regular budget reporting, analysis and recommendation
- Maintain confidential information on behalf of the VP with tact
- Manage the ITS office for the VP (calendar, schedule,
logistics, supplies, budget, and website
- Provide general administrative support that may include
drafting and preparing final versions of documents and
correspondence, developing spreadsheets and reports, development
and distribution of meeting agendas and minutes.
- Assist with the coordination and logistics for department
events, conferences, vendor communication and job candidate visits
to include scheduling, publicity, room reservations, travel and
catering arrangements as needed.
- Coordinate recordkeeping and payroll processing for
departmental student workers.
- Update and maintain ITS department websites.

Associate degree and a minimum of six years of related
administrative support or program coordination or similar
