Housing Assignments Services Manager

Coastal Carolina University is currently accepting applications for the following position: Housing Assignments Services Manager in the Department of University Housing.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage Assignment Services processes including: applications, assignments, accommodations, room changes, meal plans, fees, license agreements, exemptions, requests for Housing release and resident accounts utilizing housing software solution and interpersonal communication.
  • Manage processes of varying levels of complexity, confirming successful exchange of information, milestones, deliverables, operating procedures, follow-up, and reporting.
  • Manage interpersonal and administrative conflicts and challenges related to Housing assignments to support residents and facilitate positive outcomes.
  • Participate in the training and management of the housing software solution.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other constituents to accomplish departmental and divisional objectives and University goals.

Requirements: A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Administrative experience and demonstrated success in a customer service role is also required. A bachelor’s degree and experience utilizing housing software (e.g., StarRez, RMS, etc.) is preferred. Candidates must have a valid state driver’s license.

Operations Manager I (AH75/61121849/ FTE-S00826P), full-time position with benefits. SC State Pay Band: 05. Salary range: $35,360.00 (minimum) to $50,394.00 (midpoint). Normal work hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 pm. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the university.
