Duties and Responsibilities
Teach eight courses on load (undergraduate and graduate)
Teach any available overload courses (encouraged)
Advise and mentor students in the Department and School
Participate in departmental and university committees
Work on campus at least three days per week
Contribute to the development of curriculum and teaching materials
Engage in scholarly activities such as research and publication (encouraged)
Qualification Standards
At least three years of university teaching experience
Strong record of teaching effectiveness and student mentorship
Demonstrated commitment to student success
Excellent written and oral communication skills suitable for business endeavors
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
Education
Master’s degree in a relevant field with a major, minor, or ten years of experience in Journalism, Writing, or Communication.
Experience
Must have a minimum of three years of university teaching experience.
