Housing Facilities Manager

 

Coastal Carolina University is currently accepting applications for the following position: Housing Facilities Manager in the Department of University Housing.

 

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage the recruitment, hiring, training, and supervision of student facilities staff and two main campus custodial supervisors.
  • Collaborate on multifaceted, complex projects and issues; managing deliverables and quality control.
  • Direct contractor activities; collaborate with varying stakeholders in the planning, design, and implementation phases of improvements and renovations.
  • Manage portion of custodial operations and quality assurance objectives, including: summer turnover, camp and conferences, and health and safety inspections.
  • Implement safety and security processes and initiatives, including: access control, emergency preparedness, and respond to emergencies in residential facilities.
  • Serve as live-in, crisis and emergency responder with comprehensive on-call responsibilities, including after hours.
  • Coordinate rental and event requests including planning and set-up.
  • Implement policies, protocols, quality control measures, and best practices to improve facility conditions, access control, and minimize risks.
  • Lead and serve on departmental, divisional, and university-wide work groups and committees.

 

 

Requirements: A bachelor’s degree is required. Prior management and facilities experience are also required. A master’s degree is preferred. Candidates must have a valid state driver’s license and acceptable three (3) year driving record.

Student Services Program Coordinator II (CB70/61122772/ FTE-S00825P), full-time position with benefits. SC State Pay Band: 05. Salary range: $35,360.00 (minimum) to $50,394.00 (midpoint). Normal work hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 pm. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the university.
