Adjunct Faculty: Business

Job Summary

Elmhurst University invites applicants to join our Adjunct Pool in the Department of Business and Economics to teach in the areas of Economics, Management, Marketing, International Business, Accounting, and Finance.

Essential Functions

• Teaching graduate level MBA courses .
• Course preparation, grading, and being available for students outside of the classroom.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Evidence of teaching effectiveness.
• Commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment for a diverse student body.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• College level teaching experience.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements

Employee is subject to indoor work, protected from weather conditions. Work is sedentary in nature and involves exerting up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or an eligible amount of force frequently/constantly in order to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.

Work Hours

• Flexibility relative to teaching schedule.
• Be available for meetings with accounting and finance professors a few times during the semester as requested.
