Visiting Assistant Professor of Chemistry

Union College Department of Chemistry invites applications for a two-year visiting position at the Assistant Professor level beginning in Fall 2023. Successful candidates will have a Ph.D. in analytical chemistry or a closely-related field, and should have the potential for excellence in undergraduate teaching and research. The College has an exceptional suite of advanced instrumentation and the expectation is that the hire will involve undergraduates to further their research endeavors. Teaching responsibilities will be primarily in introductory and analytical chemistry courses and labs. We strongly encourage applications from members of groups traditionally underrepresented in the field.
