Adjunct Faculty Credit - Mathematics

Starting Pay Rate: Per Adjunct Faculty Pay Scale

Schedule Information: Need instructors to teach face-to-face courses at our Palatine, IL campus. Calculus III class runs from 8-8:50am MW and 8-9:15am TR. The other courses run between 3 - 7pm, two days per week.

The number of adjunct instructors hired varies from semester to semester, depending upon the needs of the department. Your application can remain "Under Review by Committee" for 18 months. You may check your status at any time by logging into jobs.harpercollege.edu with your username and password.

Job Description: Harper College is looking for qualified teachers for several of our face-to-face courses being offered this fall such as Algebra, Quantitative Literacy, College Algebra, Statistics and/or courses in the pre-calculus to calculus sequence including Calculus III .

Education Requirements: A Master's degree in Mathematics or related field is required with at least 18 credit hour of graduate level Math coursework.

Experience Requirements: At least 2 years of teaching experience preferred. The teaching requirement may be fulfilled through a program of supervised teaching as a graduate student.
