Visiting Assistant Professor of Marine Science, Marine Chemistry
 

The Department of Marine Science within the Gupta College of Science at Coastal Carolina University invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of marine chemistry beginning in August 2023 with potential for renewal for up to one academic year. Applicants with expertise in marine chemistry or related aquatic chemistry are encouraged to apply. Teaching responsibilities will include introductory marine science courses and an upper-level undergraduate marine chemistry lecture and laboratory course.

 

 

 

The Department of Marine Science is committed to collaborative, interdisciplinary research and education as one of CCU’s largest undergraduate departments. We seek a highly motivated individual with a commitment to undergraduate and graduate education that embraces the teacher-scholar model and provides active learning experiences in classroom, field, and laboratory settings. This position will support existing degrees in Marine Science and a new B.S. in Marine Coastal Environmental Science beginning in August 2023.

 

 

 

Ph.D. and prior teaching experience are required.  Post-doctoral experience is preferred.
