Position Summary:
The Department of Art and Design at Monmouth University is seeking applications for an Adjunct Professor who uses critical pedagogical approaches to teach the Surveys of Western Art. Currently, we offer a 2-part Western Survey: Prehistoric to Gothic during the Fall, and Renaissance to Contemporary during the Spring.

Preference given to faculty who can also teach the intro-level Art Appreciation and/or some of our 300-level, writing-intensive offerings in Art History, as needed. These include, but are not limited to: African American Art; History of Graphic Design; and Gender, Art, and Society.
