Entrepreneurship: The Redhawk 50 Program housed in the Farmer School of Business John W. Altman Institute for Entrepreneurship is designed to highlight and honor the 50 fastest-growing Miami alumni-founded, Miami alumni-owned, or Miami alumni-led businesses in the world and provide a forum to recognize and celebrate the alumni that founded, own, and/or lead those businesses each year. The highlight of this program is an annual awards ceremony. Miami University recognizes that technology enables us to find new ways of providing first class service and workplace flexibility.  This position is approved for remote work on a hybrid basis up to 50% of the time, when the job permits.  Remote work is a working arrangement that can be modified or revoked by Miami University at any time for any reason.

The Redhawk 50 Program Coordinator will be responsible for the program development and event execution of the Redhawk 50 program. These duties include development of marketing materials for the program; design a website for the program; manage the nomination process for the companies to be considered for the awards; work with the outside accounting firm to determine the winners of the program; event management of the awards ceremony with an approximate event size of 200-250 guests and other duties as assigned.

Required: Bachelor's degree and at least two years of event management experience.

Consideration may be given to candidates with marketing, graphic design and/or website development experience and proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Google Docs, and proven teamwork and collaboration skills.
