The Department of Mathematics and Computer Sciences at Mercy College (NY) invites applications for three full-time positions in Computer Science and Cybersecurity to begin September 2023. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Information Systems, or a closely related discipline by the appointment date. Position 1:
Tenure-track position in Computer Science and Cybersecurity: Professional and/or teaching experience in computer networking, operating systems, wireless networks, and cybersecurity. Experience in leading students in national or regional cybersecurity defense/offense competitions is a plus.

Position 2:
Tenure-track position in Computer Science and Cybersecurity: Professional and/or teaching experience in cloud computing, distributed computing, and big data. Experience in leading students in national or regional cybersecurity defense/offense competitions is a plus.

Position 3:
Multi-year Contract Position in Computer Science and Cybersecurity to help us create new courses in video game development and programming: Professional and/or teaching experience in C++, C#, JavaScript and Python, game engines, such as Unreal and Unity, and 2D and 3D digital animation such as Maya or Blender. Experience in developing for mobile and web platforms, and/or for applications outside of gaming such as VR is a plus.

For all three positions, we expect the candidates can teach both undergraduate and graduate levels of Computer Science and Cybersecurity classes in programming, database, computer systems, and/or data security.
