Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Worldwide campus is currently hiring adjunct faculty to teach MSAS 627- Aviation Safety Data Management and Analysis.
Course Description
This course prepares students to use aviation safety data to improve operational safety and effectiveness. At the conclusion of this course, students will know what safety data is available, how data collection programs are managed, how privacy is ensured, and how data moves from collection to analysis. Students will be able to analyze data to find solutions to real-world problems.
Please note that ERAU policy requires that all adjuncts be physically located within the United States while working for the University, including during training. Presently, we are able to support work for new adjuncts from all U.S. states except California. ERAU does not support work from international locations with some limited exceptions for individuals who are residing and working from U.S. military bases
Qualifications
Applicant Qualifications
Doctoral degree that has a dissertation, cognate, or 18 graduate credit hours in any of the Teaching Disciplines within the doctoral program will be deemed a Related Discipline.
The applicant must have valid Safety Management System experience, specifically in use and management of safety data.
Applicable Professional Certification
Certified Safety Professional (CSP) {Board of Certified Safety Professionals}
Professional Engineer Registration (PE) [Safety Engineering] {State Boards for Professional Engineers}
