Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Worldwide campus is currently hiring adjunct faculty to teach MSAS 611- Aviation/Aerospace System Safety.
Course Description
This course is designed to provide the graduate student a comprehensive view of system safety and how system safety is integrated into the life cycle of a system. The course will explore hazard analysis techniques used to identify, track, and mitigate hazards from design through operations.
Please note that ERAU policy requires that all adjuncts be physically located within the United States while working for the University, including during training. Presently, we are able to support work for new adjuncts from all U.S. states except California. ERAU does not support work from international locations with some limited exceptions for individuals who are residing and working from U.S. military bases.
Qualifications
Applicant Qualifications
Doctoral degree that has a dissertation, cognate, or 18 graduate credit hours in any of the Teaching Disciplines within the doctoral program will be deemed a Related Discipline.
The applicant must have valid System Safety Engineering or System Safety Management experience.
Applicable Professional Certification
Certified Safety Professional (CSP) {Board of Certified Safety Professionals}
Professional Engineer Registration (PE) [Safety Engineering] {State Boards for Professional Engineers}
