The University of North Carolina Asheville seeks an accomplished,
forward-thinking, and collaborative leader to serve as its
Associate Vice Chancellor for Admission and Financial Aid.
Reporting to the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, the Associate Vice Chancellor will be the institutional leader for the areas of Admissions, Financial Aid and Enrollment Management. The role will be responsible for the strategic direction and effectiveness of the University's recruitment, admission, financial aid, and pre-college outreach unit that is committed to providing access to a high quality, affordable liberal arts and sciences education.
The University seeks candidates and nominees who bring expertise and leadership that will develop strategies and methods to maintain UNC Asheville's academic quality, enhance its reputation as a nationally recognized public liberal arts and sciences institution, and secure its place in an era of rapid change in higher education. The Associate Vice Chancellor will have the expertise to lead a unit built upon quantitative analysis, data informed strategic decision making, and a commitment to continuous improvement. The Associate Vice Chancellor will promote a culture that emphasizes effective and supportive relationships, a "high touch" outreach approach, communication and transparency, entrepreneurship, flexibility, and collaboration.
A commitment to and knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion as critical components of academic excellence and student success are essential.
