Perform paraprofessional work by
assisting teachers with students grades 6-12 in the JCCC summer
youth enrichment classes.
- High school graduate or equivalent
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Associates degree or higher or at least sixty (60) semester
hours from an accredited institution of higher education
- One to two years paraprofessional work experience with 6-12
grades in an educational environment

Position Details - Job duties include but
are not limited to:
Assist with check-in and check-out of students. Performance is
acceptable when: a. children are safe and accounted for at all
times b. program policies and procedures are followed c. para
maintains a positive attitude and provides excellent customer
Assist teachers in the supervision of learning activities,
circulating within the classroom and providing assistance and
learning support to children. Performance is acceptable when: a.

Supervise students at all times. Monitor students when they are in
the classroom and outside the classroom. Performance is acceptable

satisfied with the class materials as organized c. clean-up is
