Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Job Title : Adjunct - Public Health-Epidemiology/Biostatistics

Classification : Part-time, non-benefit eligible

Teach course Categorical Data Analysis in the Master of Public Health program.

Course Description: This course covers a variety of statistical methods for analyzing categorical data, including estimation and inference for contingency tables and Generalized Linear Models (GLM) for categorical and ordinal data. The course includes instruction on how to carry out these analyses in SPSS. Emphasis will be placed on interpreting test and model results within the context of epidemiology and public health. The course is currently taught online in the D2L Learning Management System.

Required Qualifications:



Minimum of master’s degree in Biostatistics, Public Health, or closely related field. Doctoral degree is preferred. Significant teaching experience (online and in person) at the graduate level and applied experience in public health data analytics preferred. Experience with the D2L Learning Management System is desired.
