This position will support Institutional Advancement at TCC by
growing an engaged online community via official TCC social media,
providing relevant content and spurring meaningful dialogue. To
champion the paradigm of new and social media as a highly
cost-effective and culturally relevant way to build engaged
communities at TCC. To raise TCC’s visibility and amplify TCC
culture, news and stories in relevant and timely conversations. To
maximize TCC’s ability to support existing students and to
attract/recruit prospective students.
May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be
required to assist the agency or state government generally in the
event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
- Ability to write compelling, concise copy that summarizes and
promotes TCC’s culture, programs, people and events.
- Ability to search TCC’s resources, TCC website, and the web to
discover and amplify TCC news and stories. Researches TCC stories
independently and in collaboration with Campus Communicators.
- High level skill with social media platforms, ability to post
attractive, sharable content in accordance with best
- Ability to communicate through multiple social media channels
on a daily, often hourly basis.
- Ability to represent TCC with professionalism and respect to
