Building upon a decade of expansion in the United States and beyond, Northeastern University merged with Mills College in July 2022 to have broader impact across its global campus network. That impact is powered by Northeastern's renowned experiential learning model and world-class research enterprise and strengthened by Mills' legacy in women's leadership, equity, and social justice. Northeastern now welcomes applications and nominations for the position of inaugural Vice Chancellor for Student Life of its Oakland campus.

Northeastern seeks an entrepreneurial Vice Chancellor for Student Life to lead student life operations for its newest campus in Oakland, California. Reporting to the Senior Vice Chancellor for Student Life, the Vice Chancellor will collaborate with the Senior Vice Chancellor's office and staff across Northeastern's campuses to develop robust student support services in Oakland that align with the services offered across the university's growing network. In addition, this leader will work hand-in-hand with the Oakland campus leadership team to support a local student life culture that allows students to learn in context and cultivates a strong sense of community for students as well as faculty and staff.

The ideal candidate will have thrived in complex and fast-paced environments of excellence where expectations for performance and productivity are high. This individual will serve as a key thought partner to the Senior Vice Chancellor and provide operational leadership for a broad range of services and programs to enrich the Northeastern student life experience at the Oakland campus.
