Faulkner University's College of Health Sciences is seeking qualified individuals for teaching faculty positions who desire to educate health care professionals in a Christ-centered environment. Candidates will be responsible for teaching graduate level courses in the Occupational Therapy Doctoral Program, advising students and maintaining an active research agenda. We are seeking candidates who have a passion for student engagement and advancing the mission of the university and the college. Faulkner University is a Christian university affiliated with the churches of Christ.

Two (2) openings available; Full-time, 12 month positions; Faculty rank, tenure status and salary will be commensurate with academic qualifications, teaching experience, and research. Opportunities for clinical practice will be available.

Qualifications:

  • Occupational therapist with a doctoral degree or terminal academic degree required (i.e. OTD, PhD, ScD, EdD or DSc).
  • Licensed in the United States and eligible for licensure in the state of Alabama required
  • Minimum of 3 years clinical experience as a licensed occupational therapist preferred
  • Background in teaching occupational therapy at the graduate level preferred
