The Role

The Department of Business and Office Administration requires a Tenure Track Full-time Sessional Instructor from August 15, 2023 - April 30, 2024. Areas of instruction may include Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Human Resources, Organization Behaviour, Management, Finance, and Accounting. In addition, the successful candidate will have the ability to enhance research capacity in the program and provide opportunities to support a culture of research and scholarship.

Based on budget, qualifications, and favourable evaluations, applicants may apply to a tenure track position April 2024.

The successful candidate will have a Doctorate Degree in a related field. Teaching and research experience at the post-secondary level is an asset. Necessary skills and attributes to be successful in this role include:


  • Candidates must be able to apply different instructional strategies to meet the needs of students with different learning styles. Knowledge of NWP courses and current educational technologies commonly found in classrooms (e.g., videoconferencing, D2L) are desired. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Student Focused. Strong organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills. Ability to build strong relationships across the organization; and A high level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.

The Department

The School of Business offers certificates, diplomas, university transfer, and degree completion routes for students.
