Research Assistant Professor in Geriatric Mental Health (holding the functional title of Project Manager (Research))
The Department of Social Work and Social Administration is hiring a Research Assistant Professor in Geriatric Mental Health. The position offers an excellent opportunity for academic publications, building research partnerships with international researchers and local mental health service providers, and learning the implementation of a mega mental health research project. The appointee will carry the functional title of Project Manager (Research) and help lead a large research team of postdoctoral fellows and research support staff.
We are looking for someone with (1) a PhD in mental health, social work, psychology, health economics, or other related disciplines; (2) strong teamwork skills; (3) good leadership skills, and (4) good time management. Those with experience in research project management in social sciences and an excellent academic publication record appropriate for their career development stages are preferred. In addition, they should have a high proficiency in written English and Chinese and excellent communication and presentation skills in spoken English and Cantonese.
We offer a highly competitive salary and one- or two-year contract commensurate with qualifications and experience. The contract is renewable, subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.
