Faculty Position in Dante studies

The Department of Romance Languages and Literatures invites applications for a tenure-track position in the field of Dante Studies at the beginning or advanced assistant level. An ability to teach in another area of literary and/or cultural studies would be judged positively. The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses at both graduate and undergraduate levels, and to undertake research in her/his field(s) of specialization. Position to begin August 2022. The successful candidate will demonstrate scholarly excellence and a commitment to both graduate and undergraduate teaching. He or she will demonstrate aptitude for leadership in the Italian Studies Program (https://italianstudies.nd.edu). In particular, the successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the development of Dante studies at Notre Dame (https://dante.nd.edu/).
