Rhode Island College invites applicants for the position of Operations Assistant, Intercollegiate Athletics and Recreation. This is a full-time, calendar year, continuing position.

 

The individual will provide overall, general support to the intercollegiate athletic, campus recreation and club sport programming with specific emphasis on equipment room operations and webcasting preparation and production.

 

A Program of Distinction- Intercollegiate Athletics at Rhode Island College has its roots dating back to over 100 years ago but never has intercollegiate athletics experienced the unprecedented growth and success it has in the past three decades. Since, 1955 a dedicated team of coaches and staff has been working tirelessly that RIC student-athletes remain among the most competitive in the region both athletically and academically.

Required qualifications:

  • High School diploma  Two years’ experience of supporting athletics and recreational programming preferably at the college level or Associate’s degree in field related to intercollegiate athletics, recreation or coaching. Able to learn quickly in a technical environment Good interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all campus constituencies Must possess and maintain a valid State Issued Driver’s License. Experience in digital and video production

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree Bilingual

Proposed starting salary: $45,000-$50,000
