The Department of Global Humanities at Norwich University invites applications for the position of full-time Lecturer of Spanish for Academic year 2023-2024. This is an in-person position on the Norwich University campus, in Northfield, Vermont.

Responsibilities include teaching 30 credits of beginning, intermediate, and advanced language courses. Candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching, student retention, and recruitment.   

Renewal of this position will be contingent on successful review and enrollment. 


Requirements:

Minimum of a Master's degree in Spanish or related field; native or near-native fluency in Spanish; teaching experience of Spanish as a second/foreign language (college-level experience preferred); evidence of excellence in teaching; expertise in current methodologies and culture-based instruction, including integration of technology in the classroom.
