Assistant Professor, Speech-Language Pathology (Ruskin, FL)Gannon University's Morosky College of Health Professions and Sciences is seeking applications for tenure track faculty in the Master of Science degree program in Speech-Language Pathology located at the Ruskin, Florida campus. This is a full-time, 12-month position with an academic start date as early as July 2023. Salary and rank will be commensurate with experience. Ability to teach in one or more of the following areas is preferred: Motor Speech Disorders, Fluency Disorders, Swallowing Disorders, Hearing Disorders and Aural Rehabilitation. Responsibilities for tenure-track faculty include classroom teaching, clinical supervision, advising graduate students in academic and clinical aspects of professional growth, active research/scholarship, and service to the University, profession, and community.
Requirements for this position include an earned research Doctorate (e.g., Ph.D., Ed.D.) in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology, or related area; ASHA CCC/SLP, and hold or be eligible for Florida licensure in SLP. ABD candidates may apply, but completion of the doctorate is required by the start date.
