Adjunct Anthropology - Fall 2023 for ANT 110

The College of New Jersey's Department of Sociology and Anthropology is seeking a dynamic adjunct instructor to teach one section of ANT 110: Introduction to Cultural Anthropology in Fall 2023 (August 29 to December 8, 2023) on Thursday evenings, 5:30-8:20pm.

Minimum qualifications include:
a M.A. degree in Anthropology and prior college-level teaching experience with introductory courses in Anthropology OR
a specialization in Anthropology and experience teaching college students. Ph.D. or ABD preferred.

Bulletin Course Description: A survey of the major concepts of social-cultural anthropology. Cross-cultural comparison will be a central concern of the course, as will the process of cultural change.

*This course satisfies TCNJ's Liberal Learning requirement of Global so this must be included throughout the course in a meaningful manner.

Note: This course will be offered in-person at TCNJ's campus in Ewing, NJ. Only those candidates within reasonable distance will be considered.
