Job Details
The Program Director of Donor Relations for the College of Computer, Mathematical and Natural Sciences (CMNS) will lead and coordinate efforts to strengthen donor relationships with the college and university. In partnership with the university’s central Donor Relations and Stewardship team and development staff, the Program Director will manage a college-wide donor relations and stewardship plan and explore/implement new processes that retain and inspire donors to support CMNS to their fullest potential. The individual will manage donor recognition, acknowledgments, communications, reporting, and programming for stewardship events that convey the impact of philanthropy on the college.
The Program Director is responsible for college-wide fund administration and audit to ensure that donor funds are awarded and spent according to donor intent. This position will work closely with department business officers, scholarship/fellowship committees, central donor relations, and the university’s foundation office to conduct annual fund stewardship and impact reporting.
The Program Director will be expected to work occasional evenings and weekends as necessary and travel locally 5% of the time.
Education (include licenses, certifications, etc.):
Bachelor’s degree.
Experience:
A minimum of five years of experience is required, preferably in development, donor relations, advancement communications or events.
