Automotive Partnership Representative



Roles

Northwood University seeks an Automotive Partnership Representative to be responsible for the recruitment of high school and transfer students from areas across the United States outside the state of Michigan who have a desire to matriculate to Northwood University into our Automotive Marketing or Automotive Aftermarket Programs.

Responsibilities

· Identify markets where there are interested students in our automotive programs

· Work with prospects throughout the recruitment process to the committed stage

· Do classroom presentations, attend college fairs and other areas where high school students can learn more about Northwood University to generate leads

· Visit and work with partnership community colleges to identify potential students and promote Northwood University

· Follow up on all leads generated and prospects to assist them to the next stage of the admissions process of submitting applications

· Attend automotive shows at the state and national level to provide Northwood University name recognition

· Work with industry partners in the automotive industry to create prospective leads

· Host events in areas that prospective students have an interest in Northwood University

· Report to the Vice President of UG Enrollment and Financial Aid or Director of Admissions and the Automotive Chairperson to achieve a defined recruitment goal

· Submit weekly activity reports and expense reports in a timely manner

· Document all recruitment activities in the CRM

Qualifications

· Have a bachelor’s degree (Preferably from Northwood University in one of our Automotive Majors)

· Have excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Possess a valid driver's license and meet NU insurability standards

· Have experience working in teams, and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision

· Have the ability to travel

· Work with culturally diverse populations

· Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

· Must be a self-starter with exceptional interpersonal communication skills and customer service focused
