Job Description

The Asia office, under the Worldwide campus, is looking for a passionate educator to support the course instruction to groom aviation leaders of tomorrow. The identified educator should demonstrate passion and extensive knowledge in the subject matter and be open to using engaging visuals, technologies and methods to facilitate knowledge transfer and interaction with undergraduate and graduate students.

The identified adjunct faculty may be able to teach some or all of the following module(s) related to data analytics and/or computer science:
  • Business Analytics and Data Intelligence

  • Information Security Management

  • Information Security Tools and Techniques

  • Information Security Management

  • Advanced Statistics and Analytics Concepts

  • Applied Analytics (Descriptive / Predictive Analytics)

Qualifications
  • Holds a Master’s degree or PhD in the following disciplines, or related: Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, etc.

  • Confident in engaging large groups of students

  • Professional experience in the aviation industry or teaching experience at a higher educational institution will be advantageous

Note: This is an adjunct position where the faculty will be engaged for a nine-week term in a classroom setting, based in Singapore. The faculty member will be required to teach up to six hours per week in class. Each term consists of eight weeks of teaching and one week of examination and grading. The adjunct faculty must be available to teach during the day on weekdays and/or weekends.
