About the Opportunity

Northeastern University's College of Professional Studies seeks an entrepreneurial, learner-focused, relationship-oriented professional to serve as Associate Director of Industry Partnerships for the experiential associate to master's Impact Engine.

The Associate Director of Industry Partnerships will establish relationships with industry and organizational partners to create job opportunities and placements for learners in the eA2M program. The successful candidate will have forged partnerships between industry and higher education institutions to create skill and talent placement pipelines and fostered such relationships over time.

The Associate Director of Industry Partnerships for the eA2M will report to the Director of the Impact Engine.

Responsibilities:

Develop and Implement Industry Partnerships
  • Identify new industry partnership opportunities and, in collaboration with the CPS marketing and communications teams, conduct effective marketing, engagement, and outreach to industry groups
  • Develop, track, and manage relationships with industry partners, which includes implementing the process of developing, writing, reviewing, and obtaining approvals for new agreements
  • Create co-op and employment pipelines and opportunities between learners in the eA2M program and industry partners
  • Manage the ongoing administration of agreements including notification to partners of agreement expiration and maintenance of internal records using Salesforce
  • With industry partners, execute regular on-site and co-curricular activities, ensuring learners and employers have networking opportunities, leading to stronger placement rates
  • Track and report on industry partner placement rates and performance


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Bilingual (fluent verbal and written English/Spanish) strongly preferred​ Experience building and implementing successful partnerships, preferably between higher education institutions and industry
  • Superb people skills required to develop close relationships with industry partners and key collaborators across the University and external organizations
  • Experience and comfort working in a matrixed organization and with people across reporting structures
  • Passion for creating exceptional, data driven partnerships
  • Strong problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to work independently and make decisions in a timely manner based on thoughtful analysis and critical judgment.
  • A detailed oriented, analytical mindset
  • Experience with data-informed decision-making, strategic planning and setting market strategies.
  • A strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required. Experience using Salesforce a plus.


This position is based in Miami with some travel required.
