Post Doctoral Fellow
Location: Clemson, SC
Description
A two-year postdoctoral research position is available at the Intelligent Systems and Wireless Networking (IS-WiN) Lab in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department. The particular project focuses on various aspects of communication, networking, and AI-based decision-making in autonomous vehicle systems.
Job Duties:
- Developing communication protocols for 5G- 6G- connected autonomous vehicles and AI-based methods to optimize the communication, networking and control in autonomous vehicle systems 30%
- Research on NextG networks in different areas of open RAN, network security and spectrum management. 20%
- Participating in grant proposal submission. 15%
- Dissemination of research progress through conference papers, journal articles, and software package. 15%
- Collaboration with other groups within and beyond the institution, including interfacing with both academic partners and industry collaborators. 10%
- Mentoring graduate and undergraduate student researchers. 10%
Qualifications
PhD in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or closely related field.
