Senior Research Assistant (holding the functional title of School Development Officer) in the Hong Kong Jockey Club Centre for Suicide Research and Prevention within the Faculty of Social Sciences (Ref.: 519906)

Duties and Responsibilities
  • To develop wellness-promoting curriculum and related materials
  • To plan and conduct programme activities and workshops
  • To liaise with school personnel
  • To assist in data collection, data analysis, report and paper writing
  • To perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, Psychology, Social Sciences, or other related disciplines with three years’ post-qualification experience; or a Master’s degree in the aforementioned disciplines with one years’ post-qualification experience
  • a strong sense of responsibility
  • good communication and organizational skills
  • a good command of written and spoken Chinese and English, including fluent Cantonese
  • attentive to details
  • skills in analytical evaluation and generation of practical solutions; and ability to work independently and as a team player
  • with post-qualification work experience in local schools, curriculum development, or relevant research projects and knowledge in data analysis are preferred

The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a 1-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
