Senior Research Assistant (holding the functional title of School Development Officer) in the Hong Kong Jockey Club Centre for Suicide Research and Prevention within the Faculty of Social Sciences (Ref.: 519906)

Duties and Responsibilities
- To develop wellness-promoting curriculum and related materials
- To plan and conduct programme activities and workshops
- To liaise with school personnel
- To assist in data collection, data analysis, report and paper writing
- To perform other duties as assigned
- a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, Psychology, Social Sciences, or other related disciplines with three years’ post-qualification experience; or a Master’s degree in the aforementioned disciplines with one years’ post-qualification experience
- a strong sense of responsibility
- good communication and organizational skills
- a good command of written and spoken Chinese and English, including fluent Cantonese
- attentive to details
- skills in analytical evaluation and generation of practical solutions; and ability to work independently and as a team player
- with post-qualification work experience in local schools, curriculum development, or relevant research projects and knowledge in data analysis are preferred
The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a 1-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
