The primary purpose of this position is to develop, plan,
implement, supervise, and evaluate comprehensive recreational
programs largely in the areas of esports and sport programs.
The competitive sports program comprises the intramural sports, club sports, and esports programs. The incumbent will develop and expand current program offerings; develop and manage budgets; and implement, supervise, review and administer the intramural, club, and esport sport activities and operations. They will also recruit, hire, train and develop student officials, student coordinators, student supervisors and game operations student staff and create a progressive leadership training program. The incumbent will also design, develop, and implement a comprehensive training and leadership development program for sport club officers and coaches. In addition, the incumbent will outreach to student organizations and other campus departments to assess student interests, student learning outcomes, and increase participation and collaborations.
