Job Duties:
- Teaching assignment may include a full range of courses within the accounting discipline.
- Teaching assignment may include a full range of courses, primarily in College Accounting, Computerized Payroll Accounting, Principles of Accounting I & II, Computerized Accounting, Federal Income Taxation, and Cost Accounting.
- Teaching assignment may include day, evening, weekend, and/or online courses.
- Teaching responsibilities include teaching courses, maintaining scheduled office hours, advising students, developing curriculum, and participating in College service, and professional development activities.
- Leadership in developing and improving our academic courses. Community service is encouraged.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher required in Accounting, Master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in Accounting or Certified Public Accountant license.
- 4000 hours non-teaching related work experience. All academic degrees must be from a regionally accredited college or university.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Teaching experience at the community college level.
- Experience and/or interest in using multi-media/new instructional technology in the classroom.
- Ability to maintain good relationships with students, staff, and community members.
