Visiting Assistant Professor, American or Latin American Studies

The Latin American Studies Program at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor for a specialist in American or Latin American Studies with a research and teaching focus on the Latinx experience in the United States and/or in transnational communities for the 2023-24 academic year. We seek an exceptional colleague and scholar in the social sciences with the ability to teach three courses per semester at the graduate and undergraduate levels.

Qualified candidates must have a PhD in a social sciences field (anthropology, geography, political science, public policy, sociology, etc.) with a research and teaching focus on the Latinx experience in the United States and/or in transnational communities.
