Position Function
Provide educational programs, legal advice, and counseling to individual students, groups of students and recognized student organizations; administer the Office of Student Legal Services; includes the supervision and hiring of student staff, budget, and resources. The attorney is free to exercise independent judgment and is expected to maintain confidence under applicable codes of conduct.
Minimum Education
Doctor of Jurisprudence and Indiana license by date of appointment.
Minimum Experience
Experience working in the state of Indiana as a practicing attorney.
Minimum Other
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Authorization to work in the US
Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Preferred Education
Preferred Experience
Experience in landlord/tenant, criminal, consumer, tort, debtor/creditor, employment and family law.
Preferred Other
Pre-Employment Screening
Requires successful completion of a background check and education verification.
