Vacancy Number: S-00777 Position Title: Bridge Program Manager Classification Title: Program/Project Manager Department: Admissions and Recruiting Employment Type: Full-Time Duties and Responsibilities:
The Bridge Program Manager serves as a member of the Warhawk Academic Success Center staff. This position is primarily responsible for: managing the Bridge program; providing education coaching to Bridge Program students; actively working with Admissions for a smooth transition into college; creating opportunities for Bridge students to connect; actively working towards continuous improvement and assessment of the Bridge program as needed; planning and facilitating programs. Incoming Bridge students can be ever changing, at-risk, high need etc. so flexibility to adjust to those changes is necessary. This position requires occasional early morning, evening, and weekend hours.

  • Build and manage all aspects of the AUM Bridge Program
  • Advise and mentor all current and continuing Bridge students  Collaborate with the AUM Learning Center, Admissions team,
  • Registrar’s office and all Bridge faculty and staff concerning Bridge program initiatives and processing
  • Provide comprehensive educational coaching, including personalized education plans to all Bridge program participants.
  • Supervise student assistants and administrative staff as related to the Bridge Program
  • Organize and implement all Bridge orientation sessions, success workshops and special presentations for faculty, staff and students
  • Develop, implement, and assess initiatives designed to foster campus connections
  • Submit monthly Bridge data reports and project proposals
  • Provide all academic advising and mentoring for incoming and current Bridge students
  • Work with enrollment management to maintain budget for the Bridge Program
  • Organize and facilitate weekly study halls and tutoring workshops for Bridge students

Demonstrated commitment to serving the needs of first-generation, and low-income students.

Ability to relate and connect with students. High energy, organized, relatable etc.

Excellent interpersonal oral and written communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary setting and to foster a creative, innovative, positive, fun learning and work environment

Demonstrated ability to function effectively in fast-paced, reflexive, and demanding work environments

Demonstrated ability to work in a team-based environment with independence, autonomy, and minimal supervision.

Minimum Qualifications:
Successful candidate will possess Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in education, counseling, psychology and/or related appropriate field. • At least one-year experience with program management related to education, or other relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s degree from an accredited institution in education, counseling, psychology and/or related appropriate field.
