Duties and Responsibilities
Candidates without an earned doctorate will be eligible for tenure-track status upon completion of the doctoral degree. Successful candidates must possess a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and show potential for a productive research/scholarship program.
Qualification Standards
A minimum of 5 years of clinical and didactic teaching expertise and a background in curriculum and teaching in Adult and Pediatric Nursing is optimal for hire. Beginning in fall of 2023
Education
Master’s degree with a major in Nursing from a Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education ( CCNE ) or Accreditation Commission on Education in Nursing ( ACEN ) accredited program. An earned doctorate (PhD, EdD, DNP ) is strongly preferred with eligibility for licensure as a registered nurse in the State of New Jersey.
