Job Details
Wofford College invites applications for a visiting assistant professor of mathematics to teach introductory statistics and Calculus 1 courses, as well as the possibility to teach other courses depending on expertise and demand. The one-year position begins in August 2023 and requires a Ph.D. in any mathematics field. The teaching load will be 4-0-4 (that is, 4 sections for fall and 4 sections for spring, and no teaching requirement for our January Interim term).
Applicants should demonstrate a deep commitment to teaching and fostering positive interactions with students. A record of successful undergraduate teaching and experience with online course management systems is preferred.
Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
