Butler University's Career and Professional Success Office (CaPS) is seeking an individual to provide administrative support to 1000+ Lacy School of Business (LSB) students, staff, and employers. This individual will complete special projects for the CaPS office. Responsibilities will also include providing event planning assistance for career fairs, employer information sessions, on-campus interview, mock interview days and career development workshops. The Administrative Program Coordinator will also manage student and employer tracking systems for LSB Career Development including Salesforce and Canvas.

Responsibilities include:
  • Managing LSB student and employer database including managing student enrollment process from PeopleSoft to Salesforce system
  • Maintaining LSB Career Development Canvas classes and organizations including mentor groups and mentor support materials
  • Managing Salesforce data structure, reporting and content
  • Providing event planning support for career fairs, employer information session, on-campus interview, mock interview days, and career development workshops
  • Creating and distributing Week-At-A-Glance LSB weekly email newsletter
  • Communicating across cross functional teams in LSB to ensure students, faculty, staff, and employers follow processes regarding internships
  • Replying to student and employer inquiries regarding internship processes
  • Using Butler's career management systems, Handshake, to support both students and employers through activities such as posting opportunities, posting career events, and scheduling on-campus interviews
  • Coordinating internship site visit packets and supervisor evaluations as part of the required LSB internship program
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience
  • Experience with Canvas and PeopleSoft systems
  • Proficiency with SalesForce Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with respect to private records
  • Ability to work with a certain level of ambiguity and exercise judgement within a fast-paced work environment
