Job Summary:
The Director of the Library and Teaching & Learning Center is responsible for the operational management and supervision of all areas and aspects of the Molstead Library at North Idaho College. In addition, the Director oversees NIC's Teaching and Learning Center (TLC), as they coordinate faculty and staff professional development opportunities to amplify the college mission.

Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience: Master's degree in Library Science (MLS or MLIS) from an ALA accredited institution and minimum of three years full-time equivalent experience in library services to include leadership experience in a supervisory role, and previous budgeting experience is required.

• Strong leadership and supervisory skills
  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
  
• Strong presentation skills
  
• Extensive knowledge of budgeting practices
  
• Knowledge of and experience with library management and discovery systems
  
• Knowledge of current practices and trends in the use and integration of emerging technologies to deliver information resources, services, and instruction in an academic library.
  
• Excellent ability to use personal computer, including Microsoft Office applications
  
• Ability to operate standard office equipment
