Job Summary

INSTAAR is seeking a postdoctoral researcher in Fall 2023 to study near-term predictions of high-latitude ocean biogeochemistry generated by the Community Earth System Model, and write publications related to this analysis.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
  • The postdoctoral researcher will analyze ocean physical and biogeochemical forecasts generated by the Community Earth System Model and publish papers on this research topic.

This position will start October 1, 2023.

What We Can Offer

The annual salary for this position is $70,000 - $72,000.

What We Require
  • Ph.D. in oceanography or a related field by appointment start date.
What You Will Need
  • Experience with ocean biogeochemical model development, validation, and analysis.
What We Would Like You to Have
  • Experience conducting research on high latitude ocean biogeochemistry.
