Who We Are
At the Department of Integrative Physiology, we study organisms as functioning systems of molecules, cells, tissues, and organs. This emphasis on whole-body function, and its applications to human health and disease, has made Integrative Physiology the largest undergraduate major at CU-Boulder. Our Ph.D. program was recently ranked 9th out of 63 physiology programs in the country. Our diverse faculty includes several who have joint affiliations with the Institute for Behavioral Genetics and the Center for Neuroscience, as well as clinical divisions at the CU-Anschutz medical campus.

The College of Arts and Sciences houses several internationally recognized research institutes that provide access to shared core facilities. What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
- Take a lead role in conducting and/or supervising all aspects of preclinical and clinical research.
- Take a lead role in analysis of real time RT-PCR data from studies using neural tissue.
- Take a lead role in analysis of real time RT-PCR data.
- Conduct statistical analysis and create reports.
- Perform scholarly research.
- Assist with preparation of manuscripts.
- Assist with supervision of junior trainees.
- Assist with preparation of NIH, DoD, and Foundation grants.

The salary for this full-time position is $85,888 annually.

What We Require
- PhD, ten years of postdoctoral experience.
- Knowledge of best practices in preclinical and clinical research.
- Experience with RT PCR data analysis.
