Organizational Unit Overview
The College of Engineering and Technology is comprised of the departments of Computer Science, Construction Management, Engineering, and Technology Systems. Faculty and /staff in the College provide high-quality graduate and undergraduate degree opportunities and research and service programs that enable students to achieve their career goals and that promote a strong, sustainable future for our region.

Job Duties        
Faculty members are expected to provide leadership in developing, teaching, and maintaining curriculum in the undergraduate Information and Computer Technology program and incumbent worker training programs using both traditional and distance delivery methods. Collaborate with government and industry on curriculum, placement, and incumbent worker training and any other duties as assigned.

Contingent upon available funding.

Minimum Education/Experience
A Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a discipline related to Information and Computer Technology is required. All degrees must be from regionally accredited institutions.

Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education
Cybersecurity industry experience or experience in teaching cybersecurity courses at the university or college level is preferred. Experience in security posture assessment, security configuration, and cyber-attack mitigation for information systems, networks, and hosts in both on-premise and cloud environments is desirable. Experience in developing, managing and teaching with a Cyber Range is also desirable. Experience in Operational Technology and Information Technology security interaction and integration is also desirable. IT certifications such as CISSP, CCNP, and RHCE are desirable but not required.
