Summary/Objective

The Washington College of Law Office (WCL) Academy is seeking a part-time Program Coordinator to assist for two months with general grant accounting, reimbursement event logistics and planning. The position will report to the Principal Investigator. The Washington College of Law Office (WCL) Academy is seeking a part-time Program Coordinator to assist for two months with general grant accounting, reimbursement event logistics and planning. The position will report to the Principal Investigator.

Essential Functions
  • Reserve event rooms, event logistics and agenda
  • Manage participant logistics and reimbursements
  • Assists with wrapping up final costs and closing out the grant deliverables
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
  • Part-Time, 20 - 27 hours per week.
Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
Preferred Education and Experience
  • The successful candidate should be detail oriented, organized, have experience working with in a fast pace environment.

  • Hiring offers for this position are contingent on successful completion of a background check.
  • Employees in staff positions at American University must deliver their services to the university from either the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia, or perform work on-site at the university.
