Job Summary
The Recruitment Coordinator's primary responsibilities include the leadership, management, and evaluation of comprehensive recruitment for the College with particular emphasis on undergraduate students (entering the College as new freshmen, transfer students, and re-entry students). The Recruitment Coordinator will plan, develop, coordinate, manage, and execute the recruitment and admissions process in alignment with the strategic goals of the College. In addition, the Recruitment Coordinator will represent the institution and CHPS programs to prospective students with a goal of attracting, admitting, and enrolling a talented, diverse student body. Candidates must possess excellent organizational skills and oral/written communication skills. The preferred candidate will have earned a master's degree and have experience in recruitment in a post-secondary education setting.

This position is a 12-month, non-teaching, probationary academic staff position working with 14 colleagues in the Student Services Office and will include some evening and weekend work/travel. We also offer a hybrid work environment of remote and in-office work schedules in accordance with current UWM policies.



Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Two years of experience in recruitment
  • Demonstrated excellence in written communication skills
  • Experience in giving individual and group presentations


Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in Higher Education, Counseling, or related fields
  • Experience in recruiting both undergraduate and graduate students in a post-secondary educational setting
  • Experience working with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software system such as Slate, Banner or Hobson’s Radius
