Work Site Location: Coeur d' Alene Campus
Work Schedule: Flexible schedule can be 10 or 12 months per year based on candidate preference. 19 hours per week, Mon-Thurs sometime between 8am-5pm

Job Summary:
This part-time position provides personal, career, and educational counseling for students to help them identify and overcome personal barriers that could interfere with their academic success.

Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience :
  • Master's degree in Counseling or Social Work is required.
  • Idaho Licensed Professional Counselor or LCSW or eligibility for those licenses is required.
  • A minimum of three years full-time equivalent related experience, including experience with assessment and management of mental health issues for adults and adolescents, drug and alcohol assessments, suicide risk assessments, and crisis response, is required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Strong crisis intervention skills
• Expert knowledge of mental health assessment and treatment, suicide risk assessment, as well as addiction issues
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to conduct effective training and presentations, in both one-on-one and group settings
• Proficient skills using Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to operate standard office equipment including phone and copier

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of background check and proof of degree
