The Department of Communication, Journalism and Media at Rider University seeks an adjunct instructor of Speech Communication for the Fall semester beginning September 2023.
This position is to teach COM 104 Speech Communication. This course examines basic communication principles and strategies of public speaking. Candidates should have experience teaching outlining, basic research techniques, general communication theory and platform skills. This course counts towards the fulfillment of the Essential Competencies element of the College of Arts and Sciences general education curriculum.
Candidates may have the opportunity to teach day or evening courses.

- M.A. or higher in Communication Studies or related field.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching Speech Communication at the college level.
- Ph.D. or Ed.D. in Communication Studies or related field.
