About the Opportunity

Northeastern University's College of Professional Studies seeks an entrepreneurial, learner-focused, relationship oriented professional to serve as Associate Director, College Partnerships for the Impact Engine. The The Associate Director will establish trusted long-term relationships with colleges in service of CPS mission to expand access to all learners. The successful candidate will have developed a network of partners, with experience in developing pipelines, joint programs, and demonstrated success in supporting students who are transferring or returning to complete their degree at Northeastern University.

The Associate Director, College Partnerships for the Impact Engine will report to the Director of the Impact Engine.

This position is based in Miami with some travel required.

Responsibilities:

Develop and Implement Partnerships with Colleges:
  • Identify new college pathway partnership opportunities and, in collaboration with the CPS marketing and communications teams, conduct effective marketing, engagement, and outreach to colleges
  • Develop, track, and manage relationships with college and other articulation partners, which includes implementing the process of developing, writing, reviewing, and obtaining approvals for new agreements
  • Coordinate the development of standard transfer policies among internal college stakeholders and external partners
  • Manage the ongoing administration of agreements including notification to partners of agreement expiration, updates to transfer course lists, and maintenance of internal records
  • With college partners, execute regular recruiting and pathways events, ensure faculty engagement and perform yearly review of academic pathways performance


Enrollment Management:
  • Develop and implement an enrollment yield campaign for each partnership pipeline with Enrollment Management, including virtual, on-site, and digital enrollment and yield strategies
  • Develop a student journey map for each agreement ensuring a seamless admissions and enrollment experience through the admissions process, transfer credit, and student orientation
  • Build new pathways and expand existing pathways with existing college partners for learners
  • Ensure accurate and reliable enrollment, schedule, and faculty information for all college pathways programs


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Experience in a higher education and community college environment with a track record of building effective pathways partnerships required
  • Superb people skills required to develop close relationships with external partners and key collaborators across the University and external organizations
  • Strong understanding of pathway-oriented partnership frameworks, articulation agreements, and transfer credit
  • Experience and comfort working in a matrixed organization and with people across reporting structures
  • Passion for creating exceptional, data driven learner experiences
  • Strong problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to work independently and make decisions in a timely manner based on thoughtful analysis and critical judgment.
  • A detailed oriented, analytical mindset who thrives in a multi-tasking environment
  • Experience with data-informed decision-making, strategic planning and setting market strategies.
  • A strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required. Experience using Salesforce a plus.
